Tattoo removal

Laser tattoo removal techniques can significantly diminish the appearance of your unwanted tattoo with minimal side effects.

The tattoo is created in the middle layer of skin called the dermis, which doesn't shed skin cells like the outer layer. Laser tattoo removal typically carries a lower risk of scarring than other removal options.

Lasers remove tattoos by breaking up the pigment colours with a high–intensity light beam. Black tattoo pigment absorbs all laser wavelengths, making it the easiest colour to treat.

Tattoo removal works, but some tattoos are much harder to remove than others. Older tattoos as well as stick–and–poke tattoos are easier to remove than newer ones, for example. Larger, more colourful tattoos are typically more time–consuming and expensive to remove than smaller, lighter, and less colourful ones.

Most experts consider laser removal to be the most successful and cost–effective way to remove tattoos. In general, it takes about 7 to 10 sessions to remove a tattoo with laser treatment. You'll have to wait 6 to 8 weeks between sessions for best results.

Due to the varying nature of tattoos, consultations are always required. This way our trained aesthetician can put together a treatment package that best meets your needs.
