Definitions

In these Terms of Use definitions are:

“We”, “Us”, and “Our” are references to the MJ Expozy Health and Beauty Ltd (MJExposé) [NZBN: 9429046774255]

“You” and “Your” are references to You. 

“GDPR” is a reference to the General Data Protection Regulation under EU Data Privacy Laws.

“Website” refers the the Website https://mjexpose.nz and any other site that maybe a subdomain of the root domain mjexpose.nz

Appointment Cancellation Policy

We require 24 hours for appointment cancellation notice for both treatment/procedure and consultation appointments.

Booking Treatment Appointment Slots

When booking an appointment with us for certain treatment appointment, we will ask you a minimal booking nominal booking fee to secure your slot at the point of online booking. This can be paid via debit/credit card over the phone, or via Bank Transfer. When paying for your booking fee (deposit), you are agreeing to provide us with a minimum of 24 hour–notice to cancel/reschedule if for whatever reason you cannot attend your appointment. 

If you are unable to pay this when you first book, the appointment slot will be held for you for 24 hours, after which time it can be taken by other clients. The deposit will be deducted from the cost of your treatment. If you decide not to go ahead with the treatment at your appointment, the booking fee is non refundable.

Booking Consultation Appointment Slots

Consultations are free. Consultation appointment slots are separate appointments (normally 20 minutes) in which we discuss your treatment but none is carried out.

We do, however, take a $30 booking fee at the point of booking consultation appointment slots. This can also be paid via debit/credit card online, or Bank Transfer. If you are unable to pay this when you first book, the appointment slot will be held for you for 24 hours, after which time it can be taken by other clients.

The booking fee is non-refundable however can be used against any treatments.

Following your consultation, if you would like to book a treatment appointment slot, we will transfer the booking fee paid across to the treatment appointment.

Client Cancellation

Every appointment is important to us and we always strive to give you the best possible service and time you are entitled to. As such, we humbly request at least 24 hours’ notice is given to us if you need to cancel or make changes to your appointment time. Failing to give 24–hour notice will result in your deposit being forfeited. This includes no shows.

Arriving Late on Booked Appointments

If you are over 15 minutes late and/or if the service cannot be completed in the remaining time frame, we may have to reschedule your appointment and charge you a cancellation fee at our own discretion.

All attempts to reschedule the appointment will be made. If we do not hear from you 15 or more minutes into your allotted appointment time, it will be considered a “No–Show” and you will not be refunded of your deposit.

Refusal of Treatments

MJ Exposé reserves the right to refuse treatment where we deem it inappropriate for any reason and our decision is final in this regard.

Please note that we do not provide treatments for anyone aged under 15 years.

Force Majeure or Acts of God

If MJ Exposé chooses to cancel a clinic due to force majeure or acts of God then it is not liable for any loss resulting to the customer as a result of this cancelled appointment. However, we will make all reasonable effort to replace a cancelled appointment by arranging an alternative date but this cannot be guaranteed. Where the majority of customers for that clinic have been affected, this will be made free of additional charge.

Complaints

MJ Expose adheres professionalism at all times and as such will try to resolve any complaints as quickly as possible.

Complaints about any aspect should be made in writing by emailing us at [email protected] or by writing directly to at 128 Riccarton Road, Riccarton, Christchurch 8041. Complaints received in writing will be acknowledged by return email or letter within reasonable time.

Consent to Treatment

Following your booked consultation and prior to treatment or procedure being done, and depending on the kind service we will perform, you will be asked to read and sign a consent form.

This form is not just a formality — it’s a record of you deciding to proceed with a procedure having considered the potential positive and negative outcomes and medical risks listed on the form and the impact they may have on your wellbeing.

Where a client is under any medication, you need to disclose this during your consultation to assure your safety. If needed, doctor’s certificates may be required prior to going ahead with some treatments, this is solely for your health and wellbeing. If your medication/health changes, we must be informed.

Methods of Payment

We accept debit/credit card, Afterpay, Laybuy, bank transfer, cash payments. Please ask your beauty therapist for any subscription plans we may have for your treatment/procedure.

Gift Certificates/Vouchers Terms & Conditions

Gift certificates and vouchers are valid for up to 12 months from the date of purchase or as stated in the certificate and must be presented at time of service. Photocopies are not accepted.

Gift vouchers can only be used once. You are responsible for the safe keeping of this voucher and it should be treated as cash. You must bring your electronic or original voucher when you visit for your treatment. If you fail to provide your voucher, you will be charged the normal price of the treatment and must provide another method of payment.

Only one Gift Voucher can be used per treatment. The voucher must be used in full at time of visit — there are no refunds for any unused parts of a voucher.

Use of Your Personal Information

We will only use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.

Purchasing goods and services from us

When You place an order with Us, You are making an offer to buy goods or services. An order is placed on Our Website via adding a product to the shopping cart and proceeding through Our checkout process. The checkout process includes giving Us Your delivery address and other relevant details for Your order e.g. adding an optional gift message for gift cards, entering payment information and submitting Your order.

The final step of the checkout process consists of a confirmation page with full details of Your order, which You are able to print as a receipt of Your order.

We do not supply trade quantities and reserve the right to limit the number of an item You can purchase in a single transaction.

Your order is not accepted until such time that You are sent an e-mail to confirm that We have received and accepted Your order.

Once Your order is accepted, You may not cancel or amend it. Please check Your orders carefully before placing them on Our Website.

We will take payment from You when We accept Your order.

Refusing or cancelling orders

In the unlikely event that the goods or services You have ordered are no longer available We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order.

All orders are for personal use and gifting only. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders that We believe, solely by Our own judgement, to be placed for commercial purposes, e.g. any kind of reseller. We also reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders that We believe, solely by Our own judgement, to have been placed fraudulently.

While We endeavour to ensure that the price and description of goods or services is accurate, if there is an error in the process of listing a product or service on Our Website or a technical error in the processing of Your order We reserve the right to refuse or cancel the order.

Our right to cancel orders applies to orders that have been accepted.

Pricing

All prices listed on mjexpose.nz are in New Zealand dollars and are inclusive of GST. Please note that We reserve the right to alter prices on Our Website at any time for any reason.

Our listed prices do not include import fees, duties, tariffs or other charges which may be payable in relation to an order.

Website and Credit Card Security

We want You to have a safe and secure shopping experience online. All payments via Our Website are processed using Stripe Payment portal.

You can help to protect Your details from unauthorised access by logging out each time You finish using the Website, particularly if You are doing so from a public or shared computer.

For security purposes certain transactions We may require proof of identification.
